Qualifications of Acupuncturist Jose Montoya

Jose Montoya, M.S., L.Ac. has a Masters of Science in Acupuncture. He is licensed by the state of Arizona and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is a current member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He has been studying and working in the field of Medicine for ten years. During his graduate studies in Traditional Chinese Medical studies, he traveled to China two times receiving certificates from A Collaborating Centre of Traditional Medicine, World Health Organization, Guang An Men Hospital China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. Before this, he studied Human Anatomy and Biology and has been working in the nursing field for the past 5 years. His experience allows him to bridge Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.

Jose currently treats many patients throughout the Phoenix area who suffer from chronic and acute pain. In addition, he has experience assisting patients with compromised immunity, stress and anxiety, fatigue, digestive disorders and various symptomologies of cancer and necessary pharmaceutical treatments..
